Urge Congress to Protect Access to Reproductive Health Care

Republicans continue to strip Americans of their reproductive freedom. The Republican Alabama Supreme Court issued a decision that threatened the future of in vitro fertilization (IVF), a safe and critical reproductive technology used by families across the country who struggle with infertility. This ruling, a direct result of Trump's Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade, is yet another attack on bodily autonomy and access to health care. We have a fundamental right to make decisions about our own bodies, and Congress must protect that right.

Despite Republican claims to be "pro-life," they continue to restrict health care that provides people a chance to have families. Senate Republicans blocked Sen. Tammy Duckworth's Access to Family Building Act, which would establish a right to IVF, and 125 House Republicans, including House GOP Speaker Mike Johnson, are cosponsors of the Life at Conception Act, which puts IVF at risk.
