Since the 81st Legislative Session, people living with HIV and allies have organized a statewide lobby day known as HIV Advocacy Day. The Texas HIV Advocacy Day is a day to meet with state policy makers to discuss some of the most important issues for the HIV community, including HIV treatment and prevention, HIV education, HIV criminalization, and funding for the AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP). The Texas HIV Advocacy day is hosted by the PWN Texas Strike Force (TSF or Strike Force), a statewide, cross-movement coalition of people living with HIV, allies and aligned organizations who are ready to act on behalf of marginalized communities and change the face of politics in Texas.
