Demand Day One Action to Save Alaska's Wild Places
Alaska is North America's last remaining truly wild place, with paddling, rafting, backcountry skiing, and climbing unlike anywhere else in the world. Its iconic landscapes are home to many tribes, including the Gwich'in people, who rely on protected lands in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge for their way of life. Alaska is a crucial bulwark against the worsening effects of climate change.
We ask that the Biden-Harris administration take day one action to defend Alaska's Arctic National Wildlife Refuge and Tongass National Forest from drilling and old growth logging in order protect these iconic outdoor landscapes, the way of life they sustain, and their importance for the future of our climate.
