William Pendley is an anti-public lands zealot who's been handed the reins at the Bureau of Land Management. Now, Secretary Bernhardt redelegated him acting director authority. Folks, we need to stop this.
Call your senators -- right now -- and demand that they oppose William Pendley's redelegation to lead the Bureau of Land Management. After you make your call, please sign our petition to let us know that you called.

Call Script:
Hello, my name is [FirstName LastName] and I'm one of Senator [LastName]'s constituents.
I'm calling to urge the senator to reject the redelegation of William Pendley as Acting Director of the Bureau of Land Management at the Department of the Interior.
It's clear to me that Pendley doesn't have the best interests of America's public lands at heart. He previously served as the president of a law firm that advocated selling off America's public lands. He's also sued the Interior Department or its subagencies numerous times to allow industrial extractive development on sacred tribal and protected public lands.
Once, Pendley even compared immigrants to “a cancer,” which is just one of the many reasons he is unfit for any position within Interior.
I strongly urge Senator [LastName] to do everything possible to reject William Pendley's redelegation as acting director of the Bureau of Land Management and demand the Trump administration comply with the U.S. Constitution's 'advice and consent' requirement.
I'll be watching what the senator does very closely.
Thank you for taking the time to speak with me.
