The Education Trust - Tennessee invites YOU, High School or College youth who has an interest in advocacy and policy around education issues join the EmpowerED Youth Network!
The EmpowerED Youth Network aims to invest in the next generation of student leaders and advocates by equipping them with the necessary tools to connect their personal lived experiences to issues impacting them and the fight for educational equity and justice. The objectives of the EmpowerED Network are to:

Invest in youth leaders by offering training, workshops, and convenings focused on issue bassed policy and advocacy and community building.

Provide opportunities for students to develop their leadership

Amplify youth perspectives and stories related to core education issues in order for them to advocate on bills, policies, and practices they support or oppose.

Connect with other youth across the state and in the south to build a strong network of fierce advocates and changemakers!

Elevate youth voice in the work of The Education Trust Tennessee and the Tennessee Alliance for Equity in Education
The movement to elevate student voice and promote collective action relies on students taking charge and leading the way! The EmpowerED Youth Network will be spearheaded by students that are willing and ready to take on the responsibility to lead, advocate, and mobilize other youth advocates.
