Rise
Apply to Rise's 2022 Organizing Fellowship

Rise is a student-led campaign advocating for free college and students' basic needs. Through permanent investments in college student organizing, our mission is to make higher education accessible and affordable for everyone.

We are hiring college students to lead organizing efforts to advocate for free college legislation and register students to vote. We are looking to hire students primarily in Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania & Wisconsin.

Organizing will include but not be limited to, building partnerships with state and student organizations, using creative online tactics to recruit attendees to our organizing events, and connecting with youth in their community to register to vote.

Fellows will work up to 20 hours per week and earn $15 per hour, and will have a flexible schedule that they can set around other work, academic, or family obligations. This position is available to any currently enrolled college student, and no previous political or organizing experience is required. Students will succeed in this role if they are ambitious, creative, and persistent.

We thank you in advance for your application, and look forward to reading them! Applications will be read on a rolling basis, so please apply ASAP. Please email Israel Molina at israel@risefree.org if you have any questions or concerns.

Additionally if you are interested in getting involved in another way, Rise is hiring Ambassadors on a rolling basis, who will have priority in hiring for our next fellowship. You can find the Ambassador application here
