2025 New York City Marathon Application

Joining Team Free to Run is a great way to prepare yourself for success in the TCS New York City Marathon, while also demonstrating your commitment to gender equity and making a difference for girls and young women living in conflict-affected communities. If offered a bib, you will commit to a fundraising target of $5,000 USD or more. The funds you raise will support our mission to advance gender equity globally through running.

At the moment, Free to Run has allocated all of our available bibs for the 2025 race. However, we are operating a waitlist in the event that any of our committed runners need to back out of the race due to injury or unforeseen circumstances.

We encourage you to apply to join our waitlist with a detailed application that shows you are mission-aligned and have a well thought-out plan to reach your fundraising goal or beyond. The waitlist will be order by application quality and commitment to fundraising.
