Iowa Voters for Companion Animals
Iowa Humane Lobby Day!
IVCA is proud to bring animal welfare advocates and organizations together for one of the most important days of action for Iowa's animals. As Iowa continues to be a leading puppy mill state and remains 49th in the nation for animal protection laws, our unified voices are needed now more than ever.
This event is perfect for seasoned advocates, newbies, and everyone in between! We will all come together to hear from an exciting guest speaker (stay tuned!), review current companion animal welfare bills,* learn some tips to effectively lobby legislators, and then all go to the beautiful Iowa State Capitol to speak with our senators and representatives.
Registration closes on Sunday, February 17.
*Please note, we are inviting animal welfare organizations from across Iowa, whose missions and species of focus vary. As Iowa Voters for Companion Animals' mission focuses on companion animals or pets, our policy priorities reflect this, as will our presentation content.

Join us at the Capitol any time from 12:30 - 2:30 p.m. We will provide a mini tutorial and materials for you and your representative and senator.
