The Equality Leaders Program (formerly called Equality Fellows) is a Leadership Development program aimed at providing individuals with the issue education and skills necessary to confidently exercise their individual power in support of LGBTQIA+ rights in Texas. Over the course of 7 sessions, program participants will complete crucial training on how to engage with lawmakers, how to navigate the complexities of the Texas Legislature, and how to empower others to take action in support of LGBTQIA+ equality. All of these learning modules will culminate in a final project where program participants will take on leadership roles and help see tangible results in the upcoming primary elections of 2026.
The Leaders Program is designed to meet you where you are in your advocacy journey. Whether you have engaged in advocacy before or are a novice, this program will prepare you to champion meaningful change in Texas during the legislative session and uplift critical issues your community is facing during session and beyond.
