With the recall of District Attorney Chesa Boudin, Mayor London Breed will now have 10 days after the Department of Elections certifies the election results to appoint Chesa's successor. Tell Mayor London Breed that we want our next district attorney to continue to lead us on the pathway towards criminal justice reform by:

  • Maintaining a no-cash-bail system
  • Not seeking gang injunctions
  • Refusing to charge children as adults
  • Refusing to seek the death penalty
  • Holding police officers accountable when they break the law
  • Continuing to invest in diversion programs and restorative justice
  • Refusing to prosecute in matters resulting from pretextual traffic stops
  • Protecting workers right by holding corporations accountable
  • Support the non-coercive implementation of overdose prevention programs

San Francisco residents deserve to feel safe in their neighborhoods. San Francisco must focus on the root causes of crime and not fall back on the failed tools of incarceration and overpolicing. The next district attorney has the power to protect recent gains in criminal justice reform. Tell the mayor the appoint someone who will help us make progress towards racial and economic justice by championing criminal justice reform!
