Clean Energy Means Lower Bills and More Jobs. Don’t Let Congress Take That Away.

Across Nevada, families like ours are already doing everything we can to keep up — whether it's paying the power bill, filling up the gas tank, or putting food on the table. After the House passed its harmful budget bill that would gut clean energy investments, the Senate could vote on its version as soon as June. This is our last chance to protect our wallets from out-of-state billionaires and Big Oil executives.

Let's be clear: this bill threatens the tools that help us lower our energy bills, create good-paying jobs, and keep our air clean. It's a direct hit to working families to benefit the one percent.

Here's what's at stake for Nevada:

  • Energy costs could rise by $289 a year for the average family
  • More than 21,000 clean energy jobs could disappear
  • Over $15.5 billion in private investment — projects that mean paychecks and progress in our communities — could vanish.
  • The over 41,000 families who have already used clean energy tax credits to save on home upgrades? They'd lose out on future savings.

We can't afford to go back. We've seen firsthand how clean energy investments help families like ours — making it easier to install solar panels, switch to EVs, or weatherproof our homes so we're not losing money every month to inefficiency.

While we work hard to make ends meet, this bill would give massive tax breaks to the same oil companies driving up prices at the pump. That's not right — and it's not what Nevada needs.

Senators Cortez Masto and Rosen have the power to stop this. But they need to hear from us now.

Add your name to urge Senators Cortez Masto and Rosen to protect our savings, our jobs, and our clean energy future.

Nevada can't afford to lose the progress we've made — let's speak up while we still have the chance.
