End Gun Violence Michigan is a coalition for 45 faith, student, teacher, parent and community organizations all working together to make our state safe from gun violence.
Together, we're standing up to the gun lobby and ensuring that our legislators listen to the voices of the vast majority of Michiganders who want common sense gun safety laws. We shouldn't have to live in fear that our schools, places of worship, or community events could turn into a tragedy at any moment.
EGVMI played a key role in the passage of universal background checks, safe storage, and extreme risk protection orders. Now we're working to ensure that our laws protect domestic violence survivors from armed abusers. We're also working to ensure that these laws are fairly and equitably implemented all across our state. You can see our work in the news here.
We're building the power of this movement all across our state, and we need your support to keep doing it. Your contribution to EGVMI helps support our organizing and advocacy efforts by paying for the time of our staff, the costs of public events, our online platforms, and more.
EGVMI is a 501c(3) fiscally sponsored project of the Episcopal Diocese of Michigan, so your contribution is fully tax deductible.
