Speak up for mule deer!

NO OIL AND GAS LEASING IN MIGRATION CORRIDORS UNTIL WE GET IT RIGHT
Contact the Office of State Lands to voice your opposition to leasing in critical mule deer habitat.

The latest State Lands oil and gas lease sale included 13 parcels that overlap mule deer migration corridor habitat. Seven of these parcels were sold, including three that contain critical stopover habitat in the Baggs mule deer corridor. Stopovers are the most important element of mule deer migration because they provide critical seasonal forage for the herd. Although we've raised this issue, State Lands did not pull these parcels from sale. For more information, read our fact sheet.
