It's been 2 years since the Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization ruling shifted the landscape of reproductive rights and freedom in this country. Since then, the consequences of this decision have been swift and severe. Abortion bans and extreme restrictions continue to pass in states across the country, forcing patients to travel hundreds if not thousands of miles for care. Virginia remains the last state in the South without a post-Roe abortion ban making us a central access point for care. We have to keep it that way.

We're joining with our state partners, Champion legislators, and reproductive freedom advocates to pass a Constitutional Amendment for Reproductive Freedom that would protect abortion rights and reproductive freedoms in Virginia. A constitutional amendment would guarantee that the state cannot deny or interfere with an individual's reproductive freedom in their most personal decisions, including their fundamental right to choose an abortion.
