It's up to President Biden to remove Cuba from the SSOT list, but letting our voices be heard in Congress is our best chance of influencing the Biden administration. In December 2021, 114 members of Congress wrote a letter to the President that asked, among other things, for Cuba to be removed from the list. According to press reports, the State Department assured Congressional Democrats that the process of removing Cuba was underway, only to then later be told it hadn't even started!
We need Congress to put even more pressure on President Biden, and that starts with YOU.
The ask: get your member of Congress* to contact the President about removing Cuba from the SSOT list, whether via a letter, phone call, a tweet or any other means.
If your Representative and Senators already did, your ask will be to urge them to do more to pressure President Biden.
