Together we can make a difference for children affected by incarceration
The Garrison & Friends Project was developed out of a need for more support for the children of incarcerated people. Often, children are the last to know what is happening and how their lives are changing. The Garrison & Friends books help explain the best way to talk to children about these complex issues, and they give practical advice to all connected to children experiencing this adverse childhood event (ACE). Our goal with this project is to use the arts to inform the public of the critical need for change, positively alter the statistics that show how adversely the effects of incarceration are on children, and strengthen families to survive the circumstances and make better choices for the sake of their kids. Join us! Help make a change for children's futures, as their success is our success.
