Dear CancerCare Patrons,
It is with profound regret that I inform you that we have decided to cancel the 2020 CancerCare National Gala that had been scheduled for April 22. As much as we are committed to providing our support services to those in need, we are equally committed to ensuring the health and safety of our esteemed supporters and our invaluable staff.
We have become keenly aware of COVID-19’s impact on our client population over the past several weeks and are well aware how important and necessary our psychosocial and financial services are right now to everyone we serve. As our Gala assists in providing crucial funding for us throughout the year, we hope that you continue to support these vital services by way of an online auction or donation instead.
CancerCare remains fully operational, functioning remotely with online and telephone client services. I am available to address any questions you may have.
We will be hosting an online auction from Thursday, April 16, at 9:00 a.m. through Wednesday, April 22, at 9:00 p.m. View the auction site here. Should you wish to make a donation, you can do so through this link as well. Your gift is 100% tax deductible.
On behalf of all of us at CancerCare, our Board and all those we serve, thank you for your steadfast support. Wishing you and your families safety and good health.
Sincerely,
Patricia J. Goldsmith, CEO
