In the past five decades, Joe Biden has fought for the issues that matter to Jewish Americans – ensuring access to affordable health care and education, promoting equality and social justice, protecting democratic institutions and the right to vote, mitigating the impact of climate change, and furthering the rights of women and minorities. He has fought against bigotry and discrimination, and to end the epidemic of gun violence that plagues our nation. He has led the advancement of our national security through a strong and principled foreign policy. Despite his personal challenges, he has always put the interests of the American people first. He has repeatedly demonstrated leadership in times of progress and in times of hardship, such as the unprecedented public health crisis facing us now.

Vice President Biden shares the Jewish community's commitment to the principle of tikkun olam, healing the world, in addition to our commitment to combatting the rise of anti-Semitism and supporting a strong U.S.-Israel relationship. For decades, he has demonstrated – and continues to demonstrate – a steadfast commitment to Israel's security and right to self-defense, as well as a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
