Since 2010, the US Campaign for Palestinian Rights (USCPR) has partnered with the Palestine Fair Trade Association (PFTA) to plant over 18,000 olive trees across Palestine, sustaining numerous communities and hundreds of livelihoods. With the olive harvest season in full swing, we're launching this year's Rooting Resistance campaign to support Palestinian farmers.
Our efforts are particularly important this year as farmers struggle to cope with the instability brought on by COVID-19, coupled with the challenges of living under Israeli military occupation. Over the next several weeks, we hope to raise enough funds to plant over 3,400 olive trees in Palestine and support USCPR's cutting-edge work for Palestinian rights.
With your generous support, Palestinian farmers will be provided with the resources they need to rebuild their destroyed olive groves and stay rooted to the land. Root resistance and power USCPR's essential advocacy campaigns today by planting an olive tree in Palestine!
