DRUUMM Public Worship: Special Thursday Night Action Hour Community Event May 15, 2025 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM CT *** MUST REGISTER WITH DRUUMM TO RECEIVE ZOOM LINK***This Thursday, join TXUUJM as we proudly co-sponsor DRUUMM’s annual Public Worship, “There Will Always Be Dancing”—a powerful online gathering that centers BIPOC voices and the enduring spirit of collective liberation. In the face of injustice, we turn to joy, movement, and community to sustain us. This year's service features a sermon by Rev. Joan Javier-Duval (Vermont), music by Dr. Jolie Rocke of First UU Church of Houston (Museum District), and liturgy by Rev. Christina Shu (California). Whether you come to breathe, grieve, resist, or be renewed, this is a space to be held in spirit and song. All are welcome. Event begins at 8:00 PM ET / 7:00 PM CT. Tuesday Troublers Community Event May 20, 2025 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM CT Virtual Let's get into some good trouble! This will be a drop-in "co-working" space where we can call legislators in the Texas House and Senate about bills in solidarity with our various partners. If you're not already getting action alerts, we'll share the ones we know of with you. We're in a critical part of session where bills are being assigned to and heard in committees. Let's demand accountability from Texas lawmakers!

Every month, we focus on the urgent issues affecting reproductive rights in Texas and beyond, providing advocacy updates, community connections, and direct action opportunities. Reproductive Justice is for everyone?you do not need to be a Unitarian Universalist or identify as a woman to participate.
