Public Land Managers Need to Focus on Restoration

We need more restoration in our public forests. Public land managers should be promoting projects that encompass a wide range of restorative measures like prescribed fire and thinning timber plantations. They should not be promoting timber sales that will increase fire hazard.

Please send a letter to the Medford BLM leadership and ask them to stop promoting "regeneration logging" projects in southwest Oregon's public forests. When you complete the action, your letter will be sent to a BLM field manager who is working on the Poor Windy timber sale.
