Senate Bill 2019 / Assembly Bill 3089 would increase access to PrEP and PEP in New Jersey, helping us reach our goal of ending the HIV epidemic in the Garden State.

This legislation would mandate prescription benefits coverage for PrEP and PEP, and would authorize pharmacists to dispense PrEP and PEP without individual prescriptions under certain circumstances.

In the New Jersey Senate, the bill passed out of committee on June 26, 2025 and is headed to the Senate floor. We need you to help ensure this legislation also gets a vote in the Assembly Health Committee.
