Speaker Rachel Talbot Ross has introduced a true Extreme Risk Protection Order bill that has just been scheduled for a Public Hearing at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 5th.

This is good news, and this stand alone bill has come about thanks to all of YOU who have made it clear to Maine legislators that only a real ERPO will meet this moment and provide Maine with the safety measures our communities deserve. This also means that we will need to have another BIG showing of support at the State House, in the form of testimonies, for this vital legislation.
