The Louisiana Just Recovery Network's (LJRN's) mission is to support frontline communities of Southern Louisiana as we survive and thrive from climate disaster and environmental injustice.
We engage with recovery as a process that holistically addresses many overlapping, systemic realities in Southern Louisiana, including the historical relationship between plantations/enslavement/
Your donations go towards supporting our disaster work - both preparedness and, when necessary, rapid response and recovery. We work in partnership with more that 25 local, grassroots organizations to ensure that resources get to the most vulnerable community members, with the highest needs in Plaquemines, St. Bernard, Orleans, Jefferson, St. Charles, St. John, St. James, and East Baton Rouge parishes.
