CHI Franciscan has taken the historic “Harrison” name away from our community and now they are coming after our affordable healthcare!

Management has demanded that we leave the Sound Health & Wellness Trust and move onto the expensive St. Michael Medical Center Health Plan. This move would not only result in significantly higher premiums but would also give the employer full control over the future of our healthcare. We find it indefensible that the employer is asking for healthcare concessions as we risk our health and safety to protect our community during the COVID-19 pandemic.

We, the healthcare workers at St Michael Medical Center, demand a fair contract that:

• Maintains our affordable healthcare through the Sound Health & Wellness Trust,

• Addresses our safety concerns regarding the impacts of COVID-19,

• And includes fair wages increases for ALL bargaining unit members!
