The Frontline Communities Protection Coalition is inviting you to gather before a meeting with the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) where you can have your say in a new law limiting air pollution in overimpacted neighborhoods.
Food and childcare will be provided.
This year, Minnesota passed a law requiring the MPCA to conduct a cumulative impacts analysis for polluting facilities near marginilzed communities. These are areas that have often been treated as sacrifice zones for industry. Now we have a law that can help reduce that harm — if it's rules remain strong and it's utilized by our state agency.
Join us from 4-5pm at the Duluth Grill Patio before the meeting with the MPCA to learn more about the Cumulative Impacts Law. Your voice can help protect us from pollution.
