House Bill 976 threatens democracy. 

• HB 976 updates voter registration policies for unhoused individuals.  

• HB 976 allows for third party databases to be used in voter challenges. These databases are not a reliable tool in determining an individual's voter eligibility and relies on data compilation from outside organizations, who are not trained to assess voter eligibility.

•  HB 976 is on the Senate Rules calendar and will be voted on either later today or Thursday. If this passes the Senate, it will have to go back to the House for the new language to be agreed upon.
