NOW AVAILABLE: FLORIDA STATE PARKS SPECIALTY PLATE BE ONE OF THE FIRST TO GET YOURS!
The Florida Legislature passed a law to create the Florida State Parks specialty license plate earlier this year, but we must presell 3,000 vouchers before the plate can go into production. Each voucher costs $33 and covers the cost of your specialty plate. $25 will directly benefit the Florida State Parks Foundation’s efforts to preserve, protect, sustain, and grow our award-winning Florida State Parks.
Reserve your Florida State Parks specialty license plate by ordering your voucher today! To order the Florida State Parks license plate voucher online, please complete the form to the right and submit your $33 payment.
Once we reach 3,000 presales, the Florida State Parks license plate will be produced and voucher holders will be notified by the Department of Motor Vehicles when their plate is ready. To purchase a voucher, you must have a Florida Driver’s License or Official Florida Identification Card. Please note that the name of the vehicle owner must match on the voucher.
Within four weeks of your order, you will receive your voucher in the mail from the Indian River County Tax Collector’s office. Please note that the Indian River County Tax Collector’s office can manage Florida State Parks voucher requests for any Florida resident, regardless of what county you reside in.
Florida State Parks Specialty License Plate Information
Anyone with a Florida Drivers License or Florida ID card can purchase a voucher. To redeem the voucher, you must have a vehicle title in your name, as owner or co-owner.
Vouchers can be purchased at any time, at your local tax collector’s office or online. You do not need to wait until your registration renewal date to order a voucher.
If you order your voucher online, your voucher receipt will be mailed to you from the Indian River County Tax Collector’s Office within four weeks of the transaction.*
Once 3,000 vouchers have been sold, the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (FDHSMV) will begin production of the license plates. Once the plates are manufactured, they will be sent to your county tax collector’s office, which will then distribute them to the license plate agencies in your county.
Once the specialty license plates are distributed, FDHSMV will send you a letter providing instructions on how to redeem your voucher.
If you lose your voucher, please contact the Florida State Parks Foundation at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will work with the Indian River County Tax Collector’s office to send a replacement voucher at no additional cost.
Presale vouchers do not expire.
