TAKE ACTION: Tell Legislators to Help Feed Kansas Kids!

Governor Laura Kelly announced in her State of the State address on January 15th that she has included a line item in her budge to provide free meals to any child who qualifies for reduced-price school meals. For the over 35,000 Kansas kids who are on reduced-price school meals, this is a significant step towards ending child hunger in our state!

We need your help in ensuring this gets across the finish line.

Currently, one in five Kansas kids are facing food insecurity. We must do everything we can to ensure Kansas' future leaders have what they need to shoot for the stars! Through this measure, over half of all Kansas students would have access to free school meals.

Sign this petition to let lawmakers know where you stand:

We come together to urge Kansas lawmakers to take a crucial step for the well-being of our children by eliminating the reduced-price lunch copay. By supporting this essential line item in Governor Kelly's proposed budget, you can ensure that more Kansas children have access to the nourishment they need to grow, learn, and thrive. Investing in our kids is an investment in Kansas' future.
