Audubon's newest community science program, Climate Watch, asks volunteers to conduct surveys for target bird species in order to help us understand how North American birds are responding to climate change.
Climate Watch surveys take place from January 15 - February 15 and May 15 - June 15 every year. Climate Watch email updates will feature results from the field as well as practical details on how you can get involved.
If you would like to work with us to grow Climate Watch in your area, consider signing up to serve as a coordinator. Coordinators manage their area's participation in Climate Watch by recruiting participants, training them to plan and conduct Climate Watch surveys, and ensuring that the data participants collect are submitted to the national Climate Watch team.
If you are interested in participating from outside the US please sign up here.
