The Equal Rights Center owes a tremendous amount to the work of Rev. James Macdonnell and Mr. James Gibson. Their significant positive contributions to the organization, the region, and the civil rights movement as a whole cannot be overstated. Sadly, both these heroes passed away in 2022. To honor their legacies, the ERC has created an honorary internship program. Every summer, an intern will join the ERC team to learn from and build on the important civil rights work that Rev.
