Jews for Johnson

We are #JewsForJohnson!

Add your name:

We are Chicago Jews. Our vibrant community is rooted in neighborhoods across the city. We are multiracial and multigenerational and come from a variety of Jewish backgrounds. We are deeply invested in the work of building a brighter future for our city. We are standing together to support Brandon Johnson for Mayor of Chicago.

Jewish tradition teaches us that all people are created b'tzelem Elohim, in the image of the divine. The idea that every single person in our city has inherent value is the foundation of Brandon Johnson's campaign.

The grassroots coalition rallying around Brandon reflects his deep commitment to interfaith, multiracial solidarity. Ordinary people are uniting around a shared vision: teachers, healthcare workers, faith communities, unions, neighborhood groups. As Jews, we are proud to be part of this movement.

We are ready to talk with our friends, mobilize our congregations, phone-bank, and knock doors to elect Mayor Brandon Johnson on April 4th, 2023. The day after the election and the first night of Passover, we will gather for seders and welcome in a new era of justice and hope in Chicago.
