If there's one thing I learned from my friendship with Katie-Jay and Gabe, it's that any one of us has the power to ACT. As I grieve their tragic and unexpected passings, I feel compelled to channel my grief into supporting the refugee communities to whom they were so wholeheartedly committed. That's what they did: channeled suffering into positive and long-lasting change. I hope you'll join me in honoring these two remarkable humans by showing their refugee friends that they are loved and will be remembered and supported, despite this great loss.
