Support Tracy Stone-Manning as the next BLM Director
The Bureau of Land Management is the federal agency responsible for managing 8 million acres of public lands in Montana, much of which provide world-class opportunities to hunt, fish, and recreate. Now more than ever, Montanans need a strong leader at the BLM to lead restoration, conservation, and stewardship of our public lands. Tracy Stone-Manning has the experience and leadership qualities to do just that.
As a sportswoman and outdoor enthusiast herself, Tracy understands why Montanans care so deeply about preserving our high-quality recreation opportunities. She also understands how to work with diverse stakeholders to find lasting solutions to complex conservation issues. Stone-Manning has led campaigns to expand fishing and hunting access, conserve migration corridors, restore natural infrastructure, and ensure that the Land and Water Conservation Fund was permanently authorized and fully funded. She has broad support from more than 100 local, state, and national conservation organizations as well as industry representatives, ranchers, and outdoor businesses.
We thank Senator Jon Tester for his support of Tracy Stone-Manning as the next BLM Director and we call upon Senator Daines to put aside partisan politics and support an exceptionally qualified nominee to steward our public lands for future generations.
