Join Our Justice and Pro-Choice Minnesota in seeking municipal funding for the full range of reproductive healthcare, including abortion, from the City of Minneapolis. 

The legal right to abortion has never been enough to ensure our most marginalized and underresourced communities can access abortion care. Now that Roe v. Wade is overturned, abortion will become even more inaccessible for poor people, people of color, queer and trans people.

It's not enough to protect the access we already have, we have to dramatically expand it to meet the growing need. It's up to local governments and communities to ensure abortion is accessible to everyone traveling to Minnesota. Municipal governments like Minneapolis are uniquely positioned to take action by directly funding abortion funds and practical support groups.

Minneapolis is a leader in progressive politics in the Midwest, and we call on our council members and Mayor Frey to prioritize resources for our basic human rights. 

Tell the City of Minneapolis to include funding for abortion care in the city budget.
