Your Path to Leadership

We know that everyone has a different starting point when it comes to getting involved. Your Path to Leadership is a step-by-step way to grow as a leader and make a bigger impact over time. You can start small and increase your involvement as you feel ready. Each step gives you more opportunities to lead and support others:

Supporter: Receive emails, RSVP to events, and follow us on social media.
Active Member: Attend at least 3 events or meetings each year.
Volunteer (Voluntario): Help at events and activities throughout the state.
Group Leader (Líder): Mentor a team and support new leaders. Attend team meetings. Training provided. (Most leaders volunteer for a year before stepping into this role.)
Committee Member: Work alongside the KLCN Board and experienced leaders. Lead projects. (Typically, committee members have led a team for at least a year.)
Board Member: Help guide KLCN's work and future. (Board members usually serve on a committee for at least a year before applying.)
Advisory Council: Former board members who advise, lead special projects, and share their experience.
Donor: Support our work with a financial gift.
