Dear Commissioners

I am writing to express my opposition to the PSC continuously raising my power bill for an unnecessary nuclear plant that is making Georgia Power millions in profit and to clean up their toxic coal ash waste. Since 2019, the Georgia PSC has approved over 14 billion dollars worth of increased charges to Georgia Power customers, which are making it harder for Georgians to afford electricity and contributing to inflation and the increased cost of basic needs. Georgia Power’s over-reliance on expensive fossil fuels imposes greater costs on our communities in the form of serious negative health impacts from pollution and the potential for massive disruptions and destruction caused by climate change. By transitioning to clean and renewable energy sources, we can improve public health outcomes, prevent climate-fueled crises, and create a cleaner, safer environment for current and future generations. I urge the Georgia Public Service Commission to prioritize the interests of Georgia residents and future generations by rejecting Georgia Power's proposals to make customers pay more for dirty and expensive fossil fuels. Instead, I implore you to support investments in affordable clean forms of energy that will safeguard our environment, protect public health, and promote economic prosperity. Thank you for considering my concerns.

Sincerely, [Your information here]
