About The Gala

CancerCare presents the 2023 CancerCare Spring Gala on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at The Ziegfeld Ballroom. The gala is a vital
source of funding for CancerCare and the organization’s premier event for its trustees, donors and business leaders. More than 500 people including community and business leaders, corporate partners and celebrities are expected to attend the event. Previous attendees include Katie Couric, Laura Linney, Cynthia Nixon, Whoopi Goldberg, Chef David Burke, Sam Donaldson, Mayor David Dinkins, Jessye Norman and many other notable figures who support CancerCare’s mission. Craig Vosburg, Chief Product Officer, Mastercard


Craig Vosburg is Chief Product Officer for Mastercard and a member of the company's Management Committee. In this key leadership role, he leads an integrated product management and engineering organization specifically designed to maximize the company's customer-centric focus through an end-to-end approach to design and delivery. The team innovates and scales the products and services that solve real-world problems and help shape the fabric of the modern global economy.
Included in the product and engineering organization are areas integral to growing Mastercard's business and executing on opportunities in multi-rail, digital and B2B payments – consumer products, commercial products, acceptance solutions, real-time, account-to-account and push payments, processing, open banking and Mastercard’s in-house innovation lab, Foundry. This includes the legacy Mastercard products as well as the expanded range of payment flows supported by Vocalink, Transfast, Finicity and other recent acquisitions.
Prior to assuming this role, he served as president of North America for Mastercard, overseeing the company's operations and customer-facing activities in the United States and Canada. Craig also previously led the company's global card-based products offerings.
He initially joined Mastercard in 2006 as head of Mastercard Advisors in Southeast Asia, Greater China, and South Asia/Middle East/Africa. In 2008, he was named managing director of the Mastercard Advisors business in the U.S. and Canada. In 2010, Craig was named group executive, U.S. Market Development, responsible for managing and building relationships within the merchant and acquiring community.
Earlier in his career, Craig was a senior member of the Financial Services practices with Bain & Company and A.T. Kearney, and was a vice president at CoreStates Financial Corporation.
Craig is a past David Rockefeller Fellow at the Partnership for New York City. He sits on the Board of Directors of Hawaiian Airlines, the Sultana Education Foundation, and the Board of Trustees of CancerCare. Craig holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Administration from Bucknell University.
Laura Benanti

Tony Award-winner and five-time Tony Award nominee, Laura Benanti, is a highly celebrated stage and screen actress, who recently ended her critically acclaimed run on Broadway as Eliza Doolittle in Lincoln Center’s revival of “My Fair Lady.” Her television credits include “Younger,” “The Detour,” “Supergirl,” “Law & Order: SVU,” “Nashville,” “The Good Wife,” “Elementary,” “Nurse Jackie,” “The Big C,” NBC’s “The Sound of Music Live” and her heralded turn as First Lady Melania Trump on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.” Other Broadway credits include Steve Martin’s Meteor Shower, Amalia Balash in She Loves Me (Tony and Drama Desk Award nominee), Gypsy Rose Lee in Gypsy opposite Patti LuPone (Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards), Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown (Tony nomination, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards winner), Into the Woods (Tony, Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle nominations), In the Next Room or The Vibrator Play, The Wedding Singer, Nine (starring Antonio Banderas). Other distinguished theater performances include Perdita in The Winter's Tale at the Williamstown Theatre Festival, Anne in A Little Night Music at the L.A. Opera, Eileen in Wonderful Town, and Rosabella in The Most Happy Fella, both for City Center Encores!
