While battling in court against the state and its immovable Attorney General, the extent of their traumatic experiences is revealed as they wrestle to regain their reproductive futures and set a precedent for millions of other women and families. ZURAWSKI V TEXAS reveals the dire impact of losing access to healthcare—and the extraordinary efforts of the women and men fighting on the frontline to regain those rights. 2025 Thursday Night Action Hour Community Event March 20, 2025 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM CT Virtual All are welcome to join the Texas Unitarian Universalist Justice Ministry (TXUUJM) for our weekly Thursday night justice gatherings on Zoom, from 7pm to 8pm CT. These gatherings are an opportunity to live our values in small (and large) collective ways as a spiritual and liberation practice, taking action in community each week. We check in, connect with justice-seeking folks across the state and beyond, and build friendships while engaging in meaningful work. Each week, we make calls to elected officials about pressing issues, write letters to the editor, send emails of appreciation to justice partners, hear from guest speakers on key topics, and more. It's fun, impactful, and open to everyone- UU or not, Texan or not! Join us weekly or whenever you can, and feel free to invite friends. ALL ARE WELCOME. Every month, we focus on the urgent issues affecting reproductive rights in Texas and beyond, providing advocacy updates, community connections, and direct action opportunities. Reproductive Justice is for everyone?you do not need to be a Unitarian Universalist or identify as a woman to participate. This space is open to all who care about bodily autonomy, healthcare access, and justice for all people. Whether you?re a seasoned advocate or just getting started, your voice and action matter.
