Title IX Coordinators oversee schools' compliance with Title IX, the federal law that prohibits sex discrimination and harassment in schools. But currently, most schools do not give Title IX Coordinators the support and training they need to identify and address sexual harassment.
The Gender Equity in Education Act (GEEA) would give schools resources to better enforce Title IX so Coordinators could receive training and technical assistance to effectively do their jobs and make sure students are safe.
No young person should ever feel unsafe in school because of sexual harassment. Do you agree?
