Tell Congress: Repeal the 2002 Iraq War Authorization!

On March 29, the Senate voted 66-30 to reassert its war authority by repealing the law that authorized the Iraq War. In a time when so many of us are desperate for a sign that Congress can still work across the aisle to bolster our democracy and create a safer world, the passage of S. 316 was a huge bipartisan victory.

Now the action shifts to the House, where one man has the power to move or stall this bill—Speaker Kevin McCarthy (CA-20).

Speaker McCarthy has indicated an openness to repeal, but it will only happen if he feels pressured to act by his fellow members of Congress. Send the email below to urge your US Representative to co-sponsor the repeal, and to advocate with Rep. McCarthy to post it for a vote!
