We need you to take action NOW and tell the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) to protect the wild horses of the Three Fingers and Jackies Butte Herd Management Areas (HMAs) in Oregon and not subject them to cruel “management” practices! 

The BLM is accepting comments on a plan that would utilize mass roundups, removals, and several methods of controversial contraceptives and reduce both HMAs to just 75 wild horses on 63,000 acres and 65,000 acres of land respectively. This represents an average of 1 horse per every 800+ acres, while the agency permits thousands of privately owned cows to graze this area every year. 

The 10-year plan, which is set to begin this year, includes rounding up every horse within the HMAs to hand-select those that will be released back out to their habitat area, but not before they administer the untested GonaCon vaccine to all wild mares over the age of two, and treat others with controversial IUDs.

These horses need your voice. Please take action today before its too late.
