The SC Progressive Network's HQ is in the heart of Columbia, at the corner of Elmwood Avenue and Modjeska Simkins Way, next to the historic Modjeska Simkins home.

We call the building GROW (Grass Roots Organizing Workshop), a nod to the original GROW which that served as a hub for progressive organizing in South Carolina between 1977 and 1996. GROW was the precursor of the Network.

The new GROW has become a vibrant gathering place that celebrates the city's diversity, promotes grass roots organizing, and contributes to the long-term health of our democracy. It is a meeting space, a classroom, and a stage for local artists.

GROW belongs to the community. As such, it depends on community support to maintain the building and sustain the programs housed there.

Please do what you can to help. You can make a one-time pledge or set a payment schedule to support this unique space. Your pledge will only be used to make GROW functional, fun, and sustainable. It will allow us to build a patio and reimagine our outdoor area to maximize our usable space.
