Accepting on behalf of Bluprint Oncology
Lisa Hefner, President, Bluprint Oncology

Lisa is a 25-year oncology and hematology education and marketing expert. Her commitment to the oncology community, specifically the patients who are living with cancer and the desire to create a different type of communications agency are her biggest motivators.

Having broad experience in oncology and hematology, both on the manufacturer and agency side, Lisa understands the challenges of healthcare teams who make treatment -decisions for their patients and is dedicated to finding thoughtful solutions for Life Science partners to educate those treatment teams and their patients.

With the satisfaction of these stakeholders in mind, and with a targeted, evolved way of thinking, Lisa knew that to keep up with the innovations and complexities of oncology and hematology, a new approach and lens needed to be explored.

In 2016, she partnered to create Brightly Network LLC, consisting of medical communications agencies, BluPrint Oncology, and Verascity Science, establishing a space where clients are confidently supported, patients and HCPs are integral to the conversation, and employees can grow and thrive. Her paradigm-shifting strategies and solutions have quickly led BluPrint Oncology and Verascity Science to become thriving businesses supporting diverse life science clients.

Lisa’s partnerships in advocacy have brought patients and caregivers front and center to provide their voice to the conversations about healthcare. And her relationships with thought leaders in oncology and hematology have ensured BluPrint and Verascity are always on top of trends in treatment and care.

At 9 years old, companies focus on being brave, bold, curious, and adaptable. This is exemplified by the dozens of life science partners trusting her with their brands and changing how agencies build the best teams. Lisa is the person who brings everyone together, the critical catalyst to affecting positive change.

Lisa is the person who brings everyone together, the critical catalyst to affecting positive change. She is changing how agencies build the best teams, how agencies support clients with seats at the table when planning a strategy. That change moves us forward in improving healthcare and lives. Her passion makes a difference for patients living with cancer.

She and her entrepreneur husband, Joe Masiello, are raising two boys while living in NYC
