Aid & Alliance - Cities
Application Deadline: May 14
Acceptances Sent: May 28
The mission of March For Our Lives ("MFOL") is to harness the power of young people across the country to end all forms of gun violence—not just mass shootings, but everyday gun violence, police violence and more. In furtherance of this mission, MFOL has launched Aid & Alliance, a flagship resource sharing program that redefines the way that MFOL supports Black, Indigenous, and Person of Color (“BIPOC”)-led grassroots organizations and organizers.
The "cities track" will support organizations from eight cities, which have been selected based on need and potential for significant impact:
- Baltimore, MD / DMV Metro
- St. Louis, MO
- Memphis, TN
- Philadelphia, PA
- Los Angeles, CA
- Houston, TX
- Chicago, IL
- Phoenix, AZ
We will select up to three organizations from each city. Each selected organization will receive an unrestricted grant of $8,000 to support their ongoing work to end gun violence. Organizations will also be invited to participate in an in-depth training program and after the training, the organizations from each City will jointly receive $12,500 to work on a collaborative mutual aid project with March For Lives.
