Nonviolence In Action: Peacekeeping for Successful Events

Our PJALS Peacekeeper training is a great workshop on nonviolent de-escalation skills for protesters, organizers, and folks thinking of volunteering as peacekeepers for any social justice cause! You will learn how trained peacekeepers can help create a successful event for social justice and peace, nonviolence principles and guidelines, techniques to defuse and de-escalate potentially volatile situations, and how to organize a team of peacekeepers. We will also practice together so we are more likely to use these new skills in real life!

All persons who successfully complete a PJALS Peacekeeper training are eligible to join the PJALS Peacekeeper Team to support the safety of future events, but there is NO obligation. There is no cost to attend; there will be an opportunity give an optional donation.
