Our country's workers deserve to make a living wage. But because of political inaction, the federal minimum wage has not been increased in a decade. Current minimum wage laws do not respect the value of our efforts or the dignity of workers.

We have a chance to change this. Recently, the House of Representatives passed a bill that would #RaiseTheWage to $15 an hour. This is a huge opportunity to improve the lives and futures of #PeopleLikeUs and millions of other Americans. 

But this key piece of legislation can't start helping our families and communities unless the Senate approves it. We need your help to tell all members of the Senate to respect the rights and dignity of workers by passing this bill and raising the federal minimum wage!
