Islah LA is a leading community of Muslims in the South LA Inner City. Our purpose is to revive, renew, and restore the South LA community, which has been plagued by systematic problems for generations, such as cycles of poverty, incarceration, broken homes, and lack of educational opportunity. Islah LA seeks to break these cycles in alignment with our Islamic principles.

Islah LA provides several much-needed services to the South LA community:

• The Islah LA Food Drive provides food to over 120 families and individuals per week in an area where many are struggling to buy enough food for their families
• Islah Housing provides 20 units of low-cost, safe, affordable housing for those who are at risk of homelessness or were formerly incarcerated and are trying to reintegrate into society
• Islah LA's Tayseer Zakat program provides a source of financial relief for many local Muslims who are struggling to make ends meet and are at risk of losing their residence or falling into serious debt
• Islah Peace Pods provides free counseling programs for both individuals and families to improve the health and well-being of our families and communities
• The Islah LA Masjid provides a space for Muslims to come together and grow stronger in their Deen and as a community, and offers a foundation for Islam to flourish in South LA.

Together, we are reviving our community in South LA through the power of Islam. We need the consistent support of our Muslim brothers and sisters nationwide in order to truly uplift our people and create a vibrant Muslim community in the Inner City.
