Whether we're Black, white, or brown, we deserve to live in warm homes and breathe air free from pollution. But DTE Energy consistently puts profits over people, fighting the transition from coal and fracked gas to healthy, affordable wind and solar energy. 

As a result, we pay with our health -- asthma attacks, hospital bills, and missed days of school and work. Black, People of Color, and low-income communities breathe in far more DTE pollution than whiter, wealthier, suburban communities.

Our health requires more than lip service. We need Governor Whitmer and the Public Service Commissioners to stand up to DTE Energy and give teeth to public health and environmental justice factors.
