WEPOWER Capital Interest Form

We'd love to get to know you a little better. Please fill out this short form to get the conversation started.

About WEPOWER Capital

WEPOWER Capital invests in companies owned by Black and Latinx entrepreneurs with a strong growth trajectory, who are committed to igniting economic growth and shared prosperity in North St. Louis. Some things that make us unique include:

  • More than Money: Along with our investments, we provide access to high-quality, professional business coaching and work to make valuable connections to support your business' growth and long term success.

  • Repayment aligned with your business' growth: Repayment of these investments is based on a fixed percentage of revenue, meaning our investments are more flexible than traditional debt and our success depends on the success of the businesses in which we invest.

  • Capital that's more accessible: WEPOWER Capital provides investment without traditional barriers; there is no minimum credit score or collateral required.

  • You maintain long term control and ownership: WEPOWER Capital also does not require business owners to give up long term control or ownership of their company.

WEPOWER Capital Underwriting Process

  • 1. Getting to Know Each Other: You submit this interest form. Our team reviews it and follows up with you. If there's a fit, we have a conversation to get to know one another, learn more about your business, and answer any questions you have. We will share a financial spreadsheet to help you see if a revenue-based investment is a good fit for your business. If there's not a fit, we'll recommend other avenues for you to pursue.

  • 2. Formal Underwriting: If there's a mutual fit, we ask you for more detailed information on your company, including organizational documentation and financial information, and learn about your company in more depth. We review this in detail with our partner, Mission Driven Finance. If we determine an investment is in our mutual interest, we agree on specific financial terms.

  • 3. Final Review and Approval: We present to the Investment Committee (composed of local community members from North St. Louis, Black and Latinx entrepreneurs, and investors) for review and final approval.
